The kingdom begins with humility. Consider how was Eve seduced into prideful sin. The lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life itself resulted in separation from the kingdom of God Genesis 3:6. The root of the sin in my life is pride.
Does God oppose you? James 4:6b - “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
Isn't it true... greatness is the derivative .. not the function/goal of the kingdom focused Christians? How did Jesus Christ himself model greatness the night of the last supper John 13:1-20? Or consider reading Mark 10:45 to learn more about "The Greatest Of These..."
